THE TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 - Cairo


  • Airport picking up:  

Our representative will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport, and handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area and customs formalities.

 

  • Hotel transfer:  

After that you will be transferred to your hotel by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy Pyramids Cairo tomorrow where you are going to see one of the seven wonders all over the world, overnight in a hotel.

 

Day 2 – Train to Aswan

 

After breakfast start your full day

 

Visiting the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

 

Visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built.

 

Next is a close-up look at Sphinx – A huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren.

 

Then visit Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for (fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques …etc.).

 

Later Transfers to the train station for your overnight Sleeper train to Luxor.

 

Have Dinner on the train.

 

Day 3 - Nile Cruise Luxor

 

Upon arrival at the Luxor train station, you will be met and transferred to the Cruise, Boarding before Lunch. Lunch on board.

 

Visit The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. Excursion to the Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great Proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak, which is a serious of temples, built in different reigns. Starting by the Avenue of Sphinxes visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake.

 

Afternoon Dinner on board & Belly Dance show, Overnight stay in Luxor.

 

Day 4 – Nile Cruise Luxor

 

After breakfast

 

Visit The West Bank – the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari.

 

Excursion to the Necropolis of Thebes on the Eastern bank, crossing the Nile drive to the Valley of Kings, visits the tombs of various Dynasties, The Temple of Deir El Bahari.

 

On the return journey stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile.

 

Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut,

 

Lunch on board while sailing towards to Esna,

 

Afternoon Tea. (Optional) Hot Balloon: Should you want to make your stay in Luxor an unforgettable Drifting peacefully over the Valley of King, Valley of the Queens and the Mountain on the Nobles,

 

Overnight in Edfu.

 

Day 5 – Nile Cruise Edfu

 

Enjoy your breakfast while cruising down the Nile.

 

Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.

 

Visit The Temple Shared by the Two Gods Sobek & Haroeies in Kom Ombo.

 

Afternoon Tea Dinner on board & Galabya party Overnight in Kom Ombo.

 

Day 6 – Nile Cruise Aswan

 

After breakfast continue Sailing to Aswan.

 

Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries & the Temple of Philae


Lunch on board.

 

Sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener’s island and Agha Khan Mausoleum.

 

Afternoon Tea Dinner on board, Overnight in Aswan.

 

Day 7 – Train to Cairo

 

After breakfast Disembarkation from cruise,

 

(Free) Departures to Abu Simbel visit the Temple of Abu Simbel back to Aswan, The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II (XIXth. Dynasty) and lately saved from inundation of the Nile waters in among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments. The temples were built out of a sandstone rock cliff, and representation of the deities to which each was dedicated is carved on its huge façade. Nearby, also saved, lies the small Temple of the King's wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor.

 

Our local representative will assist and transfer to your train station heading north to Cairo, Overnight stay on the train.

 

Day 8 – Cairo

 

Arrive in Cairo,

 

Our representative will welcome you at the train station and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo,

 

Our friendly expert Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit the famous Egyptian museum where you will see many precious antiquities.

 

Then on to Islamic areas of Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladdin which boasts the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali.

 

After that you will visit the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon.

 

Built on the ruins of two towers of the fortress towers is the church of St. Mary, more commonly known as the Hanging Church.

 

Visit to oldest shopping bazaars in Cairo Khan-el Khalili, one of the world's largest bazaars, pulsing with commerce and crammed with spices, coppersmiths, perfume and trinkets.

 

Later on we transfer you to your hotel Where you will stay overnight in Cairo

 

Day 9 – Departure from Cairo

 

Breakfast at the hotel

 

Our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.
